WHAT ARE SECONDS?

Seconds are almost perfect. The eggshell(s) may have a bump, texture, *which can be sanded or small imperfections.

100% dyable, the shape is normal, and all are structurally sound.

Copper Marans, Cuckoo Marans, Pee-wee Chicken, or Heritage Chicken eggs may have a scratch, uneven hues, a bump or tiny bumps on the bottom.

Imperfections can be incorporated into the designs
and never-to-be-seen.

Imperfect eggshells are instrumental and make great teaching tools.
