Bob White Quail eggs are the purest of white.
  • The average size in comparison is a 25-cent coin or slighty larger. (1"= 2.54 cm.),
  • Most are teardrop shape.
  • They are easy to work with and have a good shell.
  • Ideal for writing pysanky, jewllery, painting with acrylics and beading.

    • Ships to Canada & U.S.A.
    • Packages are shipped expidited (insured) via Canada Post.
    • Buyer pays to ship.  All taxes are included in prices and shipping.                                
    • Shipments are tracked through Canada Post and notifications are sent through email to both buyer and seller.

    • Information provided to Canada Post / USPS shipping label and tracking only; completely confidential and private under the privacy policy act.  

    • Each item has been weighed and calculated with shipping material included. (A small egg may weigh very little, the packing material and the box make up the difference).  For example, 1 ostrich egg without packing material weighs 0.325+ kg or 0.72+ LBS. (proven in the intro box at the top of the store page).

      If there is a shipping cost difference of 6$ or more, it will be refunded to you after shipping. Thank you.

     

  • Safety

    Precaution:  wear protective gear - respirator mask, eye goggles, rubber gloves & apron when sanding, cutting, carving, scratching, drilling holes, or etching eggshells.  Lack of safety may result in bodily injuries or respiratory illness.                                                   
     

  • You need to know...

    All eggshells are candled against cracks and other defects. Guaranteed structurally sound. 

    Eggshells have one small drilled hole, centred, on wide end bottom, blown-out, washed (no chemicals) & rinsed on the outside shell --> cleaned, safely sanitized, rinsed on inside eggshell & air dried - will not affect dyes or other materials). Any shadow spots will disappear when writing pysanky or can be etched off by soaking in vinegar for a minute with the drain-hole plugged. (optional)

    • Remove all wraps after receiving your package, and inspect all eggshells.
    • PLEASE BE SURE TO ALLOW 24 -48 hours of house temperature before use.
